Gaphic Collages

Graphic collages (and website) for the project THE SILVER UPGRADE by designer Irmy Wilms-Haverkamp.
About the project: Accompanying elderly relatives made a deep impression on her and led to completely new insights, also about her own age. (She was born in 1961.) Her latest and very personal interest is therefore the topic of the Silver Society. She believes that the general concept of „old age“ is outdated and is convinced that architecture, design and technology are important factors for the success of the demographic change towards an innovative, sustainable society. With „The Silver Upgrade“, launched in February 2023, she wants to contribute to this.

Zum Projekt: Die Begleitung hochbetagter Angehöriger hat sie tief beeindruckt und führte zu völlig neuen Einsichten, auch über ihr eigenes Alter. (Sie ist 1961 geboren.) Ihr neuestes und sehr persönliches Interesse gilt daher dem Thema Silver Society. Sie hält die allgemeine Vorstellung von „Alter“ für überholt und ist überzeugt, daß Architektur, Design und Technologie wichtige Faktoren für das Gelingen des demografischen Wandels hin zu einer innovativen, nachhaltigen Gesellschaft sind. Mit dem im Februar 2023  gestarteten „The Silver Upgrade“ möchte sie hierzu beitragen.
